A workshop to train student librarian as teen faciliitators is held during school holidays in June. Schools in NR region are invited to nominate 3 to 6 student-librarian to attend the workshop. During the 3-day workshop, students are equipped with skills to plan and execute a book discussion session.
After attending the workshop, some teens came forward to run future sessions while others came to attend the sessions. As a result the response to pseudo bookclub session was always good. We saw some very committed teens who returned ro either attend or facilitate sessions. Some of the books discussed were READ! Singapore titles.
Below are some photos from the event. Please feel free to leave comments on posts.
